Alter Ego Maniac
One minute you are as sweet as can be
The next you are yelling at me
Then you smile and hug me so tight
And thirty minutes later were in another fight
An alter ego maniac, that's exactly what you are
And no matter what you say, I'm getting in this car
I'm driving away and never coming back
I'm tired of your shit and that's that

THE MORNING AFTER LIFE
I lie on the beach watching the sun set over the ocean feeling the tide coming in. A soft spray of light becomes visible above me. The closer it comes the brighter it becomes. Then standing by me surrounded in light is a god, tall, muscle bound, his body a golden tan and his hair as black as the night. He knelt beside me he took my hand and kissed it softly. This golden god removed my dress and laid down beside me my body glowing in light. He leaned in and our lips met ever so softly at first then it turned hot and demanding. Wrapped in his radiance we become one. Intertwined melded into one floating ever higher above the water. All through the night he took me to a place beyond any earthly pleasure. Our body's and hearts moving as one ever higher into the heavens.
The morning sun awoke me it was brighter and clearer than I had ever saw it. I opened my eyes to find myself in his arms on a bed of clouds. My body like his was no longer physical. We had transcended and I had come home.

The morning afterlife
I try to be strong when you get that tone in your voice.
That tone that only appears at night
I prepare myself… I put up my defenses,
But somehow you break down my defenses
You end up killing another part of me
I then prepare myself for the morning afterlife
