Challenge: [Write a poem or short story about what your parents mean to you (good or bad).] Look how you’ve broken me Look how I cry. You were supposed to protect me. You never even tried. To lost within your own world, addiction to sustain. You brought me along with you, a victim to your pain. You never seem to notice, to hear my pitiful screams. While locked inside your bedroom, smoking through your screens. Look what you did, look oh how I changed. You let the men have me, look what you help made. You don’t seem to care, my innocence brutally lost. You were supposed to protect me, not matter what the cost. You could have let them have me, taken me away. They would have done better, raising me, such better care. Better than what you provided, to them I was so dear. You should have let them raise me, but instead you held on Look what your selfishness did, you made me hate you, I, your only one. You use to mean so much, once upon your time. You proved you weren’t worthy Through all my screaming, times. Now I can only pretend to love you, Because so long ago you killed, the heart inside of me. Lupa Dedanna © Written by Genta I sit in isolation... I would prefer to be alone I have no need for love... what would be the point You always placed your needs first Your words never go away... I always regressed Regress to when I was younger and I was ignored Anything I wanted was unnecessary You never encouraged me I was my own parent... I never acted out... Never did anything bad... but you treated me that way Some father you were... you never wanted me... you never cared The entire contents of this site is copyrighted.
