Before things go far to fast To right the wrongs of my past Before it’s to late for you to know Things I was afraid to show Mistakes made by others Could never be the fate between you and me These words caught within my soul Afraid that you never know The things so many take for granted An obscure worlds view so slanted Here it’s done; I’ve taken this bait Wrote this poem, stolen chance To say I love you now… before it’s too late.
