Gentle , meek, mild, naïve. So trusting, I always believed. Time passed; You broke my heart and a new life I did start. You went your way…I went mine. Out of the depths of despair I had to climb. My children looking on day by day I found my strength and made my way. I am not she, ne’er no more. I’ll not believe you as before. You stole from me what she had been.
