Amidst the silent road, Buffy walked towards the direction of her house. Under a dim night light, She carefully looked at each and every corner of the road to avoid people stalking her.
Buffy sighed and slipped a candy into her mouth, preventing hunger. She continued walking until she passed by the blue lighted bridge which lead towards the way to her house. Buffy walked closer and saw someone standing in the middle of the bridge, gazing at the water in silence. Through the dim light, Buffy recognized the person's brownish blonde hair. Quickly, she tried to avoid him; Buffy ran away, but she stopped in her tracks when that person called her name. "Buffy..."
"What do you want?" Buffy looked at him with a warning glare.
"I've been waiting for you all day." he said in a weak voice, "But you were out."
Buffy walked up the bridge and stood 2 steps away from him.
"So? What is it that you want?"
"I'm sorry."
"Is that all you have to say? I'm tired of you." Buffy screamed at his ear.
"I know, but I really have to tell you something."
"Speak, Brian."
Facing Buffy, Brian caught her breath. A stream of smoky air came swarming over their shadows as he whispered, "I love you, Buffy."
Tears came falling down Buffy's face. She bit her lip until it bled, but she couldn't take her eyes off this handsome, athletic gentleman.
Brian slowly caught up his steps towards Buffy and gave her a sweet smile.
"I know I shouldn't be in love with you, and so are you with me. But, as someone who is far apart your world, I really understand how the feeling is to be loved and loved from. Buffy, I know you have a mission. But in fact, all I have to say is that I love you from the bottom of my heart. I'm really sorry for what I did to you last week. Again, I love you, Buffy."
"Brian..." Buffy whispered as the two were locked into an embrace, "I'm really sorry, Brian. I wasn't so pleased about Mr. Kendrick's comments about me."
Tears fell down on Brian's cheeks as he huggled Buffy close to his heart.
"It's okay, baby, as long as I'm never unforgiven."
