July Monthly Challenge
Due July 31, 2006
Pick a song, any song and rewrite the lyrics…
you can make it a funny song or whatever.
But the song should stick with the original music… have fun!!!
July 8th Challenges
Write a "Dear Diary" entry using these 10 words:

Write a tongue twister
Write a short story about confusion with an eight-year-old adopted boy
as the main character and a rose as the key object; the setting is a bus station

Create a villain with superpowers. What is his or her back-story? Why did he or she choose evil or good?

not coming from a flat, after all, but

You've been living a life filled with lies and
it's time for you to come clean.
There's one
lie in particular that's been eating at you
and you have to make right. Start off your
response with: "I have a confession to make.
I never really . . . " and explain the harm the lie caused and how
you intend to rectify it. You can write in a short story or a poem.
The country is in dire need of another
holiday that everyone can celebrate,
and the government has given you
the task of picking it. What event will
you add to the holiday calendar
and why? You can write in a short story or a poem.
Your friend asks to borrow a couple of your CDs.
While rummaging through your collection,
the two of you stumble upon what you consider
to be the most embarrassing album that you own.
You definitely don’t want your friend to know
that you actually like that record, so make up an excuse
as to how it got in your collection. The more elaborate
